Does anyone know what this consists of ? All I can tell is they deleted my tow hooks & charged me $80.

 

I believe the snow plow prep package is tow hook delete and added a transfer case skid plate. I have that option also, not by choice...

Do the HD front coils make it sit higher or are they just stiffer? If just stiffer, it would be beneficial to put a HD front bumper replacement on it for ride sake(at least that's what I'll tell my wife )!

 

I ordered the snow plow prep with mine, the tow hooks were on it when it was delivered.
The snow plow prep pkg. option required the trailer tow group to be on the truck.

 

From what I gather is tow hook delete ,skidplates 160 amp alternator.

 

in 04.5- the snow plow prep pkg consisted of hd springs (stiffer springs,) and skid plate. the 160 amp is for the hemi engine- the diesels come with a 130 amp alternator-regardless of whether you have or don't have the snow plow prep pkg.
