There is a tank vent mod that some guys have done. I have been thinking about it but have just not got around to it. Glacier diesel has the kit but I think you can fab your own. Do a search on her for tank ven mod and you should get plenty of hits.

Nope, not anymore. After mine clicks, I get to it in about 10-15 seconds (washing windows) and run fuel again till it clicks. I can see the level. You can run around and pick up pieces here and there and hope you have the right stuff, or support this web site and go HERE.

I've had mine for 1.5yr now. Best mod and adds about 4 gallons of usable capacity.

Went to the link in this thread and I am not too crazy about dropping tank and drilling a hole.

its actually REALLY easy. I think the toughest part for me was undoing the sensor wires that were atatched to the tank.

all in all, took a little more than an hour.

I have now had my GDP kit for a little less than a year sitting on a shelf in my garage I cant WAIT to get it installed sitting in the cold for awhile topping her off is just horrible! I just have been unlucky with having a garage my truck doesnt fit in (door wouldnt shut) and well sitting in the cold doing the tank wouldnt work too well for me

It's not too bad, just try to have the tank as empty as possible. And, have an extra hand or two available.

I got mine down to 2-3 gallons left in the tank. I did the conversion by myself in about an hour.
