Slider Leaking..
The slider on my 2003 is leaking around the sliding glass itself. Anyone else have that? I don't know it's the nature of the beast or if I just need to replace it.

Have you used the slider at all? It needs to be exercised every now and then in order to keep the seals moist
Have the Dealer take a look at it, it should be covered under warranty if you haven't passed the 3/36.

Mine was leaking a little, mainly when I ran it through the touchless car wash. I added a little silicon where the side seal meets the bottom seal. It has not leaked since.

Sliders wish I didn't even have one. The latch broke the first time I used it. Sure inspires confidence about security. Rant off, now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

It was leaking around the top egde at the plastic trim. Had it replaced yesterday, I'll see how that goes. Was told that there was a unsealed area between the body and frame at the top. I will try the silicone on the moving edges, that's a good idea. Mine was leaking, not just thru the carwash but in a regular rain and it has been know wo rain in the northwest!!

Take it back to the dealership, the ureathane sealing bead must have had a skip in it somewhere when it set. The proper procedure would be to replace the backglass, they will probably add some sort of exterior sealer though to save money and time.
