shift **** change on Manual trans.

Hello

anyone here changed there shift **** on a manual trans dodge?

If so, how did you remove the factory ****? For life of me I can't seem to budge it....do you know thread size if it is screwed on etc?

It's 10mm x 1.5m metric. I was searching that info recently trying to find a pistol grip handle for mine. It looked like the grips I found would be leaned back too far to get the correct grip on it using the factory stick though.
