Seat replacement
Seat replacement
On the topic of factory seats...
My back continues to bother me on drives to/from work ( ~ 45 minutes ).
I have manual cloth seats...and I'm thinking of trying to find seats from wrecked late model trucks.
What I would like to understand is which option is the most comfortable:
- Manual cloth
- Power cloth
- Manual leather
- Power leather
Opinions would be appreciated...

None of them are any good. I have the power leather laramie seats, and find the lower lumbar support to be non existent. This seems to be my problem, as my lower back will start aching after long trips. Someone had mentioned swapping in the SRT-10 seats, but apparently that's to the tune of $4500.
I have the "premium cloth" and i HATE my seat. The problem isnt the lumbar for me. It is the 2 metal rails running paralell to the door. on my comute, i drive anywhere from 1-2and1/2 hours each way. I have 50,000 miles on her and i can feel these 2 metal bars under the not so thick cushin(sp). I plan to go to an upulstery shop and see if they can add some foam.
Also there is a thread going around about these seets moving a lil bit during breaking, and acceleration.
