pics of trucks with 285's

I'm really wanting to get some tires and wheels for my truck. I've always had good luck with the BFGoodrich Allterrains on other trucks and would to get another set. I see they only offer a LT285 and then skip to a LT315 for 17" wheels. LT315's are bigger than I want. I'm wanting something similiar to the size of the old 33x12.5 size.
Does anyone have the 285's on aftermarket wheels on their truck that has pictures I can see?
What would be equal to a 33x12.5 tires in metric?

thanks,
Scott

I just put Nitto's on my truck on 17x9 wheels. The tires are 295/70/17. That size is right at 33/12.5/17. Nice tire and fills the wheel well nice. No pics yet. No lift at all and fits perfect.

Why not try some LT33x12.50R17's ?
There's a few manufacturers of those tires today.
Pics are in my gallery.

I have 305/70/17 Pro Comp Mud Terrains on my truck you can also get All Terrains. That is basically the same as a 33-12.5-17 285's will be about 33" but only 10-11 inches wide

Hope that helps

295/70/17's are only 11.61 inches wide but they are 33.25. But every tire manufacturers actual size is different. I'll try to state the formula

(295 x 70%) / 25.4 x 2 + 17

Hope that helps

Check my photo gallery. I have BFG 285s on my truck but with stock wheels. There is one picture with stock tires and a couple with the BFGs.
