Sagging rear springs
Just finished up the install of my 'Timbrens' on the rear of truck...had to leave the spacer out & they still touch axle tubes (no gap at all).
(Yes they are the correct ones & Yes they are installed properly
)
Appears rear leaf springs have sagged approx. 1 inch. Yes I tow heavy(14,280# 5th wheel), hitch pin weight is 2740#, rear axle weight is 6200# which puts me right at rear axle rating, yet leaf springs have sagged.
I'm really starting to not like my DOdGe, good thing it came with a Cummins.
Guess I'll have to get the rear leafs re-arched
