Replacing Mirrors
10 minutes per door, if that. Lock the door to get the **** in the down position, with the door open. Remove the screw in the center of the door panel, and the two screws in under the lower corners. Lift the panel up, then out - you don't have to take it all the way off, just enough to get to the two mirror nuts behind the upper forward portion of the panel. The panels have plastic hooks on the backside, not body trim plugs that strip. Disconnect wiring plug (if you have power/heated mirrors), then the two nuts, and the one nut that is visible forward of the panel. Mirror will pull off from the outside - mount replacement through the same holes, and reverse the rest of the process. Takes about as long to do it as it does to read my description!
I didn't go that far. I just took I think the one screw off of the panel by the mirror and pulled the panel from the window groove. This was just enough to give me clearance to access the nuts for the mirror.
Take off the nuts, pull off the mirror and put the tow mirrow on. It was pretty simple. I don't know about the torque settings, but mine wasn't too tight from the factory, so I didn't torque down on them too much when I tightened them.
