My 03 quad cab cam with standard size mirrors. They are power and heated. Have any of you ever replaced them with larger or wider mounted ones thanks david

Yes, you can get power/heated factory mirrors for about $300.

They bolt right on. Just gotta take the door panel off.

I did just what you speak of, the tow mirrors work much, much better for towing, worth every penny. The power/heated tow mirrors are also easy to find on ebay for $250 +.

draft cross,

I turned down a better deal on a 2500 without the tow mirrors when I bought mine!

I'm seriously cheap but spend a few bucks and get the real deal you will never be sorry!!

I had the small mirrors as well. Not good for towing at all. They are real easy to change out. All you need is a screwdriver and a 10 mm wrench or socket and about 15 minutes. Take the screws holding the door panel off then lift up the door panel from the bottom. The panel doesnt have to come off all the way. Just enough to get to the nuts. Somebody was saling some tow mirrors on the classifieds here. You may want to check that out.
