When I got my new 06 in january, I to was disappointed in the mileage, but now in dec. with 35,000 mi. I am very pleased. today I drove unloaded 225 mi. round trip. when I left overhead read 17.8 when I returned it read 22.1.this was mostly highway 65-70 mph. I,ve hand calculated many times in the past year and the overhead is always very close. towing my 8,000 lb. trailer I can stay between 13-15.5 depending on terrain and highway conditions. I have had some electrical issues(trailer wiring FIASCO) but other than that the truck has been flawless. I did have a reflash done early on for white smoke at idle,and also the flash for the trailer wiring.

 

I went for the oil change this morning but they didnt have time for anything else. I think I am just going to forget about the flash and get an air filter and a programmer and get some power with mileage.
