Cluster Codes
Cluster Codes
Hello all. I did the push the odometer button and turned the key on. The dash did it funky dance, and I got two codes. An A7_76 and AA_76. Does anyone know what they mean??? First time I did this and I am not sure if is a problem or not.
Thanks in advance.

OH NO DONT DO THAT, YOU BROKE IT............Just kidding. That is some sort of dash instrument check. I've done that myself.Sometimes I can get the CEL codes and somedays I can't. I cheat now, bought a OBDII auto scanner.
Haven't really seen those codes. Couldn't find them on the list either.

OH YEAH, I was looking for the complete code. I forgot that the 1st 2 are the code and the 2nd 2 is how many times since resetting it.
Sounds like PCM might be having a problem with your VIN. I would at least try disconnecting both batteries for 30 minutes and see if that clears it.
Maybe take it to Autozone or autoparts store and have them clear them. Then see if they come back at all.
