i have surfed a few ford sites just fo information on the new 6.0 and so far they say that as long as you get the auto it runs alright but is really dead on the bottom end when it comes to the 6spds. I have heard them sau under 2k rpms give me a 7.3 over that and a 6.0 ois better.<br>DM01

Does anyone know if the Cummins HO has a fuel cut off stop if the redline is exceeded?

If the governor is working, when the rpm is above redline, fuel flow is reduced to zero.

Like Casey said I love my Dodge but it is a six speed standard and I ordered it when you could not get an auto with a HO. But what was DC thinking coming out with a new auto that is only a four speed when everyone else has a five speed. I realise the torque curve is low and flat but the four speed is a turn off for a lot of people. If I was ordering again I would still order a six speed.<br>Jim O

I am very pleased with this truck. It is a pullin machine. I find that when I am running the truck with no load that it feels like it is &quot;racin away&quot; basically what I mean is that this truck feels better when pulling a load. When you have a load it feels very smooth and natural. I use this truck to pretty much pull my travel trailer, so I like the 6 speed. I find it amazing that you can pull a ~9,000 lb travel trailer down the road at 65 mph at ~1,900 RPM with power to spare.
