Rear window leaking

Tracked the lake in the back left foot well to an apparent leak around the rear window. Apparently these are not considered removable (at least not and be able to reuse it). So my options are $330 to the local Safelight guy or reseal it myself any suggestions?

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

Mine leaked years ago, so I just went to Home Depot and bought some black sealant and resealed it myself. No more leaks. Then a few years ago did something stooopid and managed to break one side of the glass. A wrecker had a good used back window assembly and they removed my old one and installed the used unit. It looks great and never has leaked, even in the hardest tropical rains.

Power sliding back glass has super small drain tubes . They are known for plugging up and flooding the wells . Not everyone can install a new glass without crimping the tubes . Solid back glass is a leakfree answer .

Yeah its not a power window just a manual slider, that would just be more to break. I guess I'm going to go with the silicone and prayer method, one of those should work.

Yup put tissue paper in the area under the light but above the window got water to run into the cab pulled the light again and the tissue paper was dry. As an update talked to the the local glass guy before I siliconed the window he advised very strongly against silicone and suggested primerless urethane windshield adhesive. Not cheap at $28 a tube from Autozone. Couldn't find true primerless version but as I'm using it to reseal not mounting the window I went ahead with that gotta give a couple of days before I can test it.
