I currently have a 05 dodge ram single cab short bed with a V6 I know why the heck am I on here. anyway I am currently trying to find out information to convert it to the cummins. I was wondering if the rear leaf springs of a 2500 would fit or are they wider than the ones currently on my truck. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you really want to tackle that project? Probably cheaper to buy a 3rd gen wih the Cummins, and definitely easier.

Jeff Garmon has a 1500 with a 5.9 and it is a beast. Hang on and hope your butt catches up at some point. He did an excellent job of the conversion and is most likely pulling more HP than most of us dream of. He could be a good source of information. I might try email as he always has lots of work waiting for his special touch.
