RB4 and audio input jack

I have the RB4 unit in my truck. I would like to put an audio jack for my mp3 player in. Does anyone know where I could get one, or if they are even made? Seems like everything I am finding is not compatible with the RB4.

I may be buying an RB4 that comes with an I-Pod adapter that I don't need. I'm waiting to hear back from the seller right now. If I get it, and it works for your needs, then we can work something out....

What's the RB4 unit? Is that the Nav system?

It's the first NAV unit Dodge offered for the 03-04 trucks. Not nearly as refined as the one for your truck (06 and newer) but I'm tired of having the Garmin sticking in my windshield.....

Ok, thanks. I just bought my 06 a week ago. Don't know much about the 3rd gens yet.

I just have the plain CD player in mine and it has an aux. jack. Kind of weird the Nav units on the older ones don't have one being a premium option.

It's the same in the newer trucks too. The lower end radio has hookups but the premium unit with the Nav does not......

To the OP, I AM buying the unit I mentioned and it is coming with the I-Pod hookup. Once I have it I'll get a picture for you and also try to get a model number so you can check if it will work for you. I know for sure that it does NOT work with an I-Phone....

dieselnut932, here is a link to the owner's manual for the "Peripheral ipod2car Version1.4.1" ipod adapter that I have. Check it out and maybe Google the model and gather all the info that you can. If you think it will work for you then make me an offer. I have the unit, The cable that plugs into the Dodge factory stereo, and the cable that connects to the ipod. That's it. I don't have an ipod and don't want one so I have no need for this. Anyone else that wants one can PM me but the OP will have first shot at it....
