Raptor 100 installation

I have a 2003 quad cab, 6 speed and will be installing a Raptor lift pump in the next few days.

If you have installed one, how long did it take and what was the hardest part ?
If possible, I would like to install it without dropping the fuel tank or drive shaft.

I installed an exhaust brake ( Pacbrake) a couple of years ago and it took me three hours. Rusty exhaust bolts.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Art

Nothing hard about it just route the new fuel line in a good spot ,hardest thing will probably be the snap connector at the tank. Its a pretty straight forward kit, probably take about 3-4 hours to do everything start to finish.Good luck

Lightbulb Straight Forward..... ? EMERGENCY FUEL ? ....

You know though those straight forward projects are usually the ones that bite ya.. LOL I have been thinking about updating my fuel system too. I was thinking, if a person took a T fitting at the injection pump and plummed in an airdog system you could put a ?hellman? sump kit in for the draw and keep the stock system hooked up for emergencies.... Would prolly need a valve so the fuel does not push back through the stock system, ball valve would stop that.. Any opinions? Does it sound feasible? Or better yet does it make sense? LOL

The hardest part is hooking up the fuel line to the ports on the fuel tank. It's tight but it can be done without dropping the tank or lifting the bed. For me it was about 4 hours worth of work, taking my time.

Smile Thanks for the responce

I thought the hardest part would be the tank hookup also. Tight area to get to and I thought the fitting could be a problem.

I was estimating 3 + hours for the job. When I installed my walbro pump it took about that long, but didn't have to change tank connection.

Well I'll give it a bloody go !!
