Ranch Hand front bumper...effect on EGT's??

Does anyone know if having one of these bumpers on the front has an affect on airflow through the front grill? If so, by how much? I figure that screen on front must block some of it, but is it a noticeable difference?

My uneducated guess is it still flows plenty through the radiators, but one thing I've noticed with my road armor is a loss of MPG not because of weight but because its less aerodynamic which I guess causes a little bit of a rise in EGT's too. Pretty sure there are plenty of people with the Ranch Hand that tow heavy with no problems from restricted airflow.

i have a full replacement randhand "style" front bumper. no real problems with airflow just seems to get up to operating temp. a little faster in the hot texas summer, but doesnt get too hot. I have put one on every diesel pickup i have ever owned no problem except lower fuel mpg.

My ranch hand front is 200lbs and the rear is almost 100lbs. Yeah, I think it does use a tad more fuel but no overheating issues even with a 2'X2' chunk of cardboard between the rad and the intercooler in the winter!

I have them front and back and have pulled our 12k 5th wheel across West Texas (I10) in August and saw no issues with high EGT's or water temps.

Never noticed a problem with mine, even towing at over 100 degree temps in the desert.

I have a Road Armor front bumper and a Ranch Hand rear bumper, have not seen any effect in temps or mpg's. I tow heavy, hot climate, all is good to go, no changes from stock.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I think the EGT's are more a result of the injectors, bored over engine and 35' 9000lb TT into a head wind. If anything I might look at something to cool EGT's. I also see a few places I can open up the bumper to make a few more cooling vents, so I might hit that up.
