Will the radio out of an 06 fit in A 05 with out needing modifications? Also does the 06 radio (6 disc/mp3) have a ooutput or a way of hooking up a IPOD?

 

Not sure if it will fit in an 05, but my 06 has the input plug for a ipod.

You will need to make modifications to both the radio and the dash bezel. The radio faces are shaped differently between the '05 and '06 RAM's and I doubt that you will even find a bezel to fit properly.
The radio itself may fit but there is also wiring and connector differences that will need to be worked out.
