Question on 04 or 04.5

What is the difference between a 04 and a 04.5? My brother has that year. How do you tell the difference between the two?

Check the engine plate on valve cover driver's side - 04 305/555 -- 04.5 325/600

look under the truck. does it have a catalytic converter? if so, 04.5
