2005 quad cab, back seat raises several inches and then stops. it will not lift all the way up to use the load floor feature. any ideas? thanks.

 

Make sure the underside is clear and no coins have fallen into the hinges.

 

Mine did the sme thing. Reach under the bottom side of seat to the very back of seat cushion, Sqeeeze that area while you work your seat up and down. Use your finger tips to pull back toward front of seat. When I bought my 06 I had the same problem. There must be a rod or some type of actuator in that cushion that needs a little help. Both rear seats gave me problems but I was able to do this. I have sprayed oil on hinges but it did not help.
