Looking mostly for rear seat space, is the 3rd gen that much bigger than the 2nd gen? Specifics if anybody has them. Thanks!

Perfect, thanks! Seems like they are about even overall except for leg room.

Im 6'4" and I can sit comfortably in the back of a QC 3rd gen, not so much in a 2nd gen. Theres always the MegaCab if you need alot of room.

I always tell guys this.

Take your bed space needs into consideration. If you are only looking to get a short bed, then by all means, get a Mega Cab. You wont regret the room.

If you need a long bed, then go for the quad.

Long bed all the way, a short bed is full in no time, the quad cab is adequate room, way more than an 02,why it took Dodge a half a century to make it the same approx. size as a Ford back seat is is just another indicator of their cheapness.

Is the change actual sheet-metal, or in the upholstery?
