3rd gen cab lights on 2nd gen

I'm considering putting smoked cab lights on my truck, but i want to go with the low profile 3rd gen lights. I read the other post about using the factory holes to drill rather than the template, would everything still line up putting 3rd gen lights on a second gen?

i don't blame you about thinking hard about it. it's hard to put holes in your roof, the first hole i put in just killed me inside. ummm, if you want smoked lights, i heard that recon makes a good kit, otherwise, the factory ones are nice too. i have pics in my gallery if you wanna check out how it looks without the template.

so did that link help ya out?

Ridiculous,

You spend a ridiculous amount of time and effort to profesionally document your cab clearance light installation. You've helped me and I think quite a few others make decisions based on your experiences, thanks for sharing your install with us all.

Sean.
