Going to be purchasing a 2004 4x4 4-door short bed 2500, 6-speed manual. Single owner, know the guy and he takes immaculate care of his vehicles and does all maintenance. The guy washes and waxes the truck weekly.

I don't know much about the 2004 trucks though. I know it's not the 2004.5. Anyone have a link I can read up on this truck by chance? i.e. engine, tranny, etc.

one of the only ways to tell if it is a 04.5 is to look at the sticker on the side of the "valve cover" white sticker, advertised HP would be 325 fo the 04.5 on the other hand, the 305/ 555 tq motor will get you better mileage

 

My mistake - just meant that I know it's NOT the 04.5...
