The truck is coming along nicely. You might find it easier to upload your pics to photobucket and then link the IMG code since you are almost out of room.

New baby tomorrow!!

So just a quick little update - non project related:
It looks like we are having our 2nd child tomorrow!! Wish us luck! My wife is about 38 weeks and labor will be induced tomorrow morning. I'll spare you guys the boring details as to why

Anyway, I guess I'll be getting that 2nd little car project helper! The more hands, the better!! Can't hide my excitement!!

The only problem with the unexpected induction of labor is that I needed just a few more days to get the truck to the driveable state. Haha. A megacab is just perfect for a few child seats in the back! No prob, though. Newborns sleep ALOT and I have a feeling my wife is going to push me to finish the truck ASAP before the baby is older and needs more constant attention (i.e. is mobile under their own power! LOL ). So don't despair...the only real big details left are the tiregate install (which I've already begun), the front fenders, and the paint (Line-X coating). I'll consider things like front hub upgrades and suspension mods as a separate project. Those are minor in comparison to all of this custom fab stuff. Bolt-ons are easy!

Wish us luck, say a prayer for the baby, and keep checking back here often! Thanks again for everyone's interest!! I promise to keep it interesting!

Yay! A new baby boy!!

I know it's not a project update, but, too bad .

We have a new healthy baby boy, Chandler Jace!!

My wife did just great, too. She should give lessons in how to have a baby! All of 6 minutes of pushing! What a trooper! I'm so proud of her

Don't fear ... Truck progress will continue. I will run outside often when the new one and mom are sleeping, but I'm going to be sure to balance my time well and spend oodles of time with my kids.

Keep checking back often for baby and truck pics!!

Just a quick update...

Mom and baby are doing so well. We've been blessed, that's for sure!

Tomorrow morning I'm going to try to do some fab for the tiregate mounts. Have a few ideas to test. Hopefully will have some progress and throw a few pics up! Thanks again for all the kind words, guys

I know this is a thread about your pickup. I know you have posted a lot of cool pics about the REALLY cool stuff you are doing to it. That however is the best post in this thread. Healthy wife and baby are so much more important! Good job dad.

Wonderfull build. Noah is a good helper and you both are doing a great job. My 7 year old son likes to check on both of your progress. Keep up the good work both of you.
