if i wanted to buy a power seat to replace one without where or how much would that be if you guys have done this ?

 

I converted the passenger seat in my '06 to power about a year ago. The driver's side was already power so wiring was present, at least as far as the center seat. Total cost of the power base unit, switch unit, and one section of wire harness for the new switch cost about $420. Hardest part was cutting a hole in the leather for the switch (emotional strain). I chose to fabricate part of the wire harness and a metal box to hold the switch in place.

Wiring just requires a 12v hot and a ground. Just about any 03 and later SLT probably has one in a salvage yard. Cheap but not sure you can get it without the seat attached.
