Possible vibration solution
For those of you with automatics. If your experiencing a mid dash rattle or vibration, check the tranny dipstick tube.
In some trucks the tube is incorrectly positioned against the metal part of the heater hose . The correct position is just above that where the metal heater pipe transitions into rubber heater hose.
If the tube is resting on or close to the heater pipe, you may be getting a vibration or rattle.
Solution. I would not recommend bending the tube, you may cause a leak where it goes into the tranny. Just cut an old piece of heater hose, nylone tie that to the dipstick tube and then nylon tie it to the heate pipe.
May solve your problem.
