Please help! Input and advice needed!

All,
I have a 2004.5 that I bought new that has a paint issue. The area around the rear wheel wells are starting to rust. The rust is coming from the inside and bubbling out. I have taken it to a body shop and they told me it was a factory defect and I should see my dealer. Well the dealer told me the paint warranty only covers rust through AKA holes and it leave it alone until that happens and hope it happens in the next 2 years. I was less than satisfied with this response so I called dodge direct. They told me the same thing as the dealer. They actually called the dealer and asked him about it. They recommended I take it to another dealer for a second opinion. He said the same thing. Do you guys have any recommendations as to what to do? The estimate to fix it was $4000 because the have to replace the bedsides since the problem is from the inside.

What would you all do?
Buy a new truck?
Paint it and put flares on it and repaint every year?
Leave it rusty and hope it pops through in the next two years? (I don’t think I can handle that!)

Sorry about the rant but I expected that Dodge would stand by their product!

Thanks guys,
John

Take a brush and put battery acid on it daily until there is a hole! Then take it back and act all serious saying " Man, I don't know, but it sure got worse quick!" LOL

take a small punch and hammer.... and punch a hole in the bubbles..then just wait a few washes for some more rust to cover any evidence

A little salt on the wounds might help too!
