Play in intermediate steering shaft

Play in intermediate steering shaft

Can someone help me out. I see about 10deg (both CW and CCW) play in my steering shaft. The intermediate steering shaft from the firewall to the steering gear box. Is this normal ? Its pretty easy to rotate and feel this play in my truck. Can someone check their shaft and tell me if this is normal ? How much wiggle is normal ? My truck is a stock 4X4

Thanks and I've been looking at this. I don't want to spend the money if its not needed. This is why I asked if someone could check shaft axial play on their 3rd gen 2500/3500 4X4 and let me know if its normal
