A-pillar gauge pod & side-impact air bags

Question, my truck has the optional side-impact air bags. I know they come down from the roof somehow in the event of a collision. My question is, can I safely install an A-pillar gauge pod in a truck with the side-impact bags? I've searched around, but not found an answer to this one yet.

Thanks!

Jon

I would say yes, but not 100% sure?
I have them in my truck with the srt pillar and when I had the headliner out for the stereo install the air bags looked like they would drop straight down a couple inches back from the top of the pillar. I have no concerns personally.

Thanks, ratsun. Unless someone in the know says otherwise, that's good enough for me!
