Parking brake adjustment on dually

Hello, just wondering if anyone had any pointers on how to adjust the parking brake on my '03 dually. Slowly getting less effective which isn't good with a 15,000# trailer out back. Just crossed 108k miles and all brakes are in great shape so I'm assuming it's in the drum part of the parking brake (if i understand how these work correctly.....). Thanks for any info.

Yes the parking brake are drum style , to adjust , raise the rear of vehicle so you can rotate the wheels.

Remove the rubber plug from the access hole in the brake support plates(middle bottom)

insert adjusting tool through support plate access hole and engage tool in teeth of screw star wheel

Rotate adjuster screw star wheel (move tool handle upward) until slight drag can be felt when wheel is rotated.

Back off adjuster screw star wheel until brake drag is eliminated.

Repeat for opposite wheel
