Painting plastic bumper cover

Was just wondering if anyone has tried painting the black upper bumper cover (ST models) with any of the spray paints claiming to stick to plastics?? (i.e.-Krylon Fusion) How did it hold up and what process did you use? Their site says no sanding, priming, etc.

paint looks good shane! is the paint holding up good to chips/flaking? i'll probably wait a little while until it warms up here to try out painting the cover w/the Krylon.. just don't want it to start peeling/flaking after I try it. Local paint guy gave me a quote of $110 just to do the cover, so I'll try it myself first

$110!!!!! That's why I tried it and did my research paint cost $7. time of course is priceless.. The only thing I had the paint flake off was my door handles on my 05. It was my first time with this process and I didn't clean them or scuff them and that was the downfall.. After that I have never had paint chip or flake off... Yet!

I've painted all kinds of plastic parts. Prep it with Bulldog adhesive promoter and spray it with DupliColor. Works on bug deflectors, vent shades, etc.
