Painfull drivers seat

What are you guys doing to your drivers seat? I've put a pad to try to eliminate the side bars making my rear fall asleep. I't helps a little. Also the front edge of the seat cuts off the circulation on the back of my legs. I've put the front seat all the way down and every adjustment in between but does not help at all.

Any info would be great!
Thanks

I've tryed a search but didnt find much.

Don't have anything to offer but some sympathy pains, the seat kills me too. I have tried every position but after being in it all day I can hardly move I am under 30 and 200lb and never had a car seat do this to me.

I am thinking about a swap in 6 months or so. I might try to find something better. Any suggestions that would fit?

Thick sheep-skin seat covers are the best. Thank you Dear Wife

It used to bother me right behind my right knee. I moved the seat every way, as you said, and if I was in it for more than 30 minutes, it would start to bother me.

On my first trip, I wore a pair of thin shorts with no pockets to see if anything like my wallet was playing some role in this. It helped a little and I went over 300 miles before I stopped for a bite and walk around a little bit.

It has gotten better in almost two years. Placing part of a rolled up tee shirt, under my lower thigh helped as well, although I haven't done that in a while.

Most of the owners have complained of pain in their lower back or butt, unlike where I feel it, fwiw. I have the premium cloth with the power drivers seat.

I am not sure it the frame is different on the cloth versus larami leather seats or what but i test drove trucks with both and I HATED the cloth and how they felt.

Take a look here, I did this mod to my seat about 1 month ago and it was a huge improvement. I used 1" thick foam instead of 2".

Sure beats $58.70 plus tax from the dealer! I have notice the same thing too. I looked up the seat foam for an '05 and it is $117 plus tax!!! No thanks! I will try something like the link showed.

I just traded my '05 in for the '07.5. I think they did something to the seats because that is the first thing I noticed, the seats feel way better.

I have the same problem as the rest of you, leg going numb not very comfortable on long drive. I took the truck in to the dealer (still under warrenty)
They looked at it and said yes there appears to be a problem "we will order you a new driver seat as well as a passenger seat also". We will see if that is any better.

You can tell there must be something major different in the seat foams, just by the price. 03/04 58$ and 05 and up 117. I am tempted to try the new foam, but I can try a lot of things for 117$.

I wonder what all the Hot shot drivers are saying about their seats. They spend a lot of seat time to make money. They must be going through the the same thing as us and must have already improved their poor seat situation.
