I'm slowly being convinced that these are the way to go (compared to a vacuum operated unit). It's not just a fear of the vacuum pump failing, but all the extra parts and the belt that goes with the Jake. Having the air tank and (by default) on board air is just icing on the cake in my mind.
Has anyone plumbed a line to somewhere outside on the truck where you can connect a coil hose? I was thinking like up under the front bumper would be cool.

Did you have to install a tranny controller or take it to the dealer for any type of programming?
Can the compressor be mounted elsewhere? I not sure if that compressor will still fit there with my GDP 2-micron filter in the same proximity.
