Overhead gauge mount
Here is my overhead, run the wires between the window gasket and the cardboard headliner. Need to take off the A-pillar, the screws are under the caps by your handle. Dieselmanor.com has a good website with instructions.
Please note that if you have wiring from your rear view mirror your gauge holder will need to be trimmed for those wires or you will have issues with it sticking the your window. I do have a poor picture in my gallery of back of the gauge holder. If you need a better picture let me know.
Hope this helps..
Well, here's a picture of my 4-pod overhead. As you can see, I'm still working out the mounting issues. There is plenty of room underneath the front lip of the headliner to run all wiring. I've had mine in and out a couple times already, and I still have some significant shaping to do to get things to fit right.
Some have suggested that with 3 or 4 pods overhead, mounting becomes a problem...especially offroading, the pods seem to fall down.

we've had some 95 degree days, and mine is still holding, the top tabs tuck under the headliner, and the bottom is velcro to the windshield. I put mine on when I put headlights in so I only had to drop the headliner once.

I only had issues before I trimmed the back of the gauge holder for the rear view mirror wires. After a little trim haven't had any more issues and its been over 1 1/2years.

The 3 dash mount gauge pod is by far the easiest to keep an eye on when things are changing quickly (boost, egt, etc) and still watch the road! --Eric
I mounted my 4 gauge pod to the reinforcement ribs under the factory trip console. I did not use tape or anything else to attach it to the windshield. Here in Az. I know for a fact that it would not hold, so I came up with an easy mounting system using two steel straps mounted to the gauge pod and then to the ribs under the headliner. I think I still have pics I took during installation if anyone is interested.

I have a picture in my gallery of my overhead gauges. With the install, I pulled off the driver side hand bar and for the head liner I had to disconnect the sun visor. That gave me enough room to tuck the wires after I tie wrapped them, in the head liner and than moved on down through the hand bar. Once through the hand bar went under the steering column and through the fire wall.
