Overall width of truck
We're on the road and I forgot to measure the truck. Looking at houses and I need to know the width of the truck at the widest point (mirrors), also have a Frontier Gear replacement bumper with the light guards that wrap around. I have the length (we just rounded to 20'), but I need the width if anyone can help me out on that. Thanks.

Thanks RC. Yup, I don't have the truck out here yet.
We ran off and forgot to pack the tape measure. Picked one up yesterday at Home Depot before meeting our Realtor. Neighbors look at us funny when we pull up to a house and first thing we do is measure the garage door and driveway. Our Realtor might have thought we were weird at first but by the last few houses she was helping us measure
Oh, this far no garage has been deep enough. They are linger around 19'. Probably won't work on a 20' truck unless I nudge the bumper through the front wall.

I know my Mega will never fit into any garage that wasn't purposely made deeper, so the wife and I agreed we will need to have a house custom made to have a 25' deep garage!
When my wife and I were house hunting, I carried a tape measure to them all. We usually measured the garage first so that we didn't bother looking (and possibly liking) anything that didn't have a deep enough garage. At first our realtor thought it was crazy, but by the end she was onboard when we would drive right past a house where the garage was obviously too small. We always wondered how North Texas could have so many garages that were about a foot too short for a truck.

When we build our forever house on our forever land I am going to be in high heaven drawing up the plans.

I guess builders really want to crank them out as fast as they can on the smallest plot of land they can to get as much money as they can.Out here I'm noticing the garages are hanging around 19' deep. But a space and height killer are the garage door beams that are installed horizontally. I believe they are for hurricanes, to add structural strength to the broad width of thin sheetmetal. Those eat up 4-6" inside the door for length when closed. And interferes with height with the door open so getting in the truck is tighter still.
My garage is 24x24 so I have no problem getting in......umm that is if I let almost all of the air out of the tires so I can sneak in under the edge of the door.
Geesh why couldn't they have just made this thing 1" taller? and I am at stock height!

See, now you're just rubbing it in, 24 foot...
Our front runner house is 79.5" of clearance. I need a minimum of 79". I might have to air down too and surely not bounce it in over the threshold lip
The ceiling heights here have been impressive though 9' and higher which is great. But this house, of course, is only 97" (8'1"). Our DFW home is 8'3" ceiling. When I get home I'll pull the truck in, pop the hood and measure clearance. I might have to bungee the hood with a limiting strap.
We appreciate the encouragement. There's a lot of moving parts. Three and a half weeks into this mighty relocation push, I am feeling the strain. We'll keep pushing though, we're halfway there. Then we will enjoy very cold adult beverages as we lounge by the pool. I'll have to start using the proper term like FiverBob does - lanai
