I am looking to get a used hard Tonneau cover.
I Think the overall bed length is 100"
But not sure on the width
If anyone knows the width to the outside of the rails, can they please post it.
I believe the width may also be tapered to the back slightly.

It tapers. By the cab is right around 65", not sure by the tailgate. I just remember the 65" from when I built my aux tank several months back.

 

Is 65 inches measured to the inside of the rails, or the outside.

The tonneau I am looking at (*is from a 1996 F150*) is 72" wide overall. It probably curves over the outside of the rail about 1 inch on each side, so I guess it would be ideal if the cummins was about 70" to the outside of the rails, basically the outside edge of the stake pocktes.
