OH mileage

Does anyone know exactly how the computer calculates the OH mileage and why it is never very accurate, even completely stock? Well it's not accurate in my truck. Every other truck and car that I have driven that has an average mileage function is very accurate, like +- .2 mpg.

On a side note, I wish these trucks had an instant mileage function like the chevys and fords.

What kind of mileage you getting with that bullydog triple dog downloader? I'm only getting 17-18 with mostly highway miles. Got about 16,000 miles on it now.

My overhead is allways within a couple 10ths of hand calc, the only thing i have found that throws it off ( reads high ) is with an addition of pressure, Timming and duration seem to have no effect.
