So one of the neighborhood trees jumped out, grabbed a hold of my rear view mirror while I was backing up and broke it off. I see them on ebay for $190 and dealer wants over $400, Yikes.

So anything wrong with the ebay version, or is there something better available?

The OEM broken unit is a heated and power remote trailer tow model...

I Bought mine off of Ebay from DR Autoparts and I'm happy with it, install is simple, looks and functions like the original.

 

how did the branch get inside of your truck?

 

Update, I ended up with one off ebay, AM-Autoparts, was delivered to door about two days. Looks and functions like original, made in taiwan. Instructions and hints found on this forum made the install a snap, about 30 minutes.
