Question Is this normal in the winter?

Ok,

Starting a new thread but the history basically is..

At 11000 miles the truck started missing (lost power , felt like hitting bumps in the road even, loud valve lash like sound) with very light throttle after an upshift, usually OD/TC lockup. Happened right after filling up with fuel so I suspected bad fuel.

Changed the fuel filter/oil/oil filter (all stratapore) and everything seemed to go away except for the occasional rough idle. Today, while lightly feathering the gas , I got the slight miss at low rpms - below 1500....enough to make it feel as if I was hitting bumps in the road... @#$%!. IS it normal for these diesels to run a little worse on the winter fuel or have I continued to clog the new filter I put on(after only maybe 500 miles or so) ? Really, if it were a manual transmission, I would think that I had upshifted too soon and the truck was "bucking" a little. I have added 38 gallons to the fuel that first "caused" the problem so I should be mostly through it now. I have PS winter blend additive in right now at the appropriate 400:1 ratio - added about 6 ounces to 20.5 gallons. Since it is under warranty, I am thinking of stopping it over to the dealer but I dont want them to drive it and say they noticed nothing out of the ordinary since it is happening infrequently. I just want to make sure my injectors are ok so I dont damage the engine. Any info/advice is appreciated as I like to be educated before talking with the service department at a dealership.

throttle stumble

lucky me, looks like I had the same symptoms as the light throttle stumble that the 6.7 engine had for 2007 in my 2007 5.9!!! ANyway, I think that light throttle stumble is an accurate description. lift pump?? at 11000 miles? Man, I think I need some gauges if this thing is gonna be picky...

Injector

I thought about the injectors but I am hoping that is not the problem. Wonder how hard it is to convince the dealer to check the lift pump pressure and pull test the injectors? I am not getting any increase in oil level, smoke , and my mpg have been good so I am hoping that an injector would give me some more symptoms.

they will not pull test the injectors they will flow test them and scan them to see if they are opening up correctly or draining down over night.Lift pump pressure is easy to test go tell them about the loss of power and stumbling under a load and if it is idling rough in the mornings
