My is an '05 and there was nothing more to it than the others explained. The aiming of the lights took longer than the install. I also re-aimed my headlights, since distance is the same, only the drop is different. Huge difference when driving in bad weather.
Getting the dash apart is easy, but you have to do it in a particular sequence. In another thread someone posted parts of a manual showing how to do it. I'll poke around and see if I can find it.....
Thanks... LOL I STILL can't seem to find my head lamp adjusters as well.. Torx 20 some place between the lamp and the radiator. I have not searched in the day or at much length. My lights are way to high.
To find the adjuster, pop the hood and on the inside edge of the headlight there is a rubber seal. Fold the rubber seal back with your hand and you'll see a deep hole at about the horizontal centerline of the light. Shine a light in that hole and you'll see the torx screw adjuster.
Replacing Dash switch
Just added a kit last weekend. The instructions "show" you (there are no words, only diagrams) to remove the panel around the radio first (if you have the floor mounted cup holders I think it needs to come off first), then the panel below the steering column, then the panel around the instrument panel-this also has the switch mounted to it.
What I did is remove the panel below the steering column (2 screws on the bottom and pull it off). Then remove 3 screws holding the switch/instrument panel. Then pull the panel out on the left side until you can reach in behind the switch and unplug the wire harness from the switch. May be hard to do if you have big hands. There are 3 screws holding the switch. Use a 8mm socket or a very short philips screwdriver and remove the screws.
