Ever since I got the truck the rear power door locks have not worked. As well the interior light does not come on when the door is opened. Front doors and all power windows work fine.

Any thoughts on where to start?

 

Never mind, I pulled the rubber cover back where the wires go thru the door frame and half the wires fell out. Insulation was hard and cracked and the wires were green and broken. You would think by now they could build a decent wiring harness.

I'm really not pleased with the build quality of the 3rd gens. My '92 had the same kms and everything worked, my '01 has almost 60,000kms more and the power options still work.

This is a common problem, mine went out at about 70K.
