power door lock button only locks 3 doors

On my 04.5 my power door lock button only locks 3 of 4 doors. The rear drivers door will not lock or open with the open. Anyone have any insight for me?

Im not sure if this will help you or not. But try reading this old thread and look closely at post #15 (Stew130's post) about how to replace the door lock solenoid. Jonesey in post #23 lists some part numbers. It worked for me replacing my driver door solenoid. Hope that helps.

Before you tear apart the door, I have read a few posts about the wires that run to the door through the rubber hose getting damaged. Pull the rubber hose and check them first.

Same thing happened with mine. After buying a new lock solenoid (that didn't fix it) I started doing continuity test to narrow down the location of the problem. It was just as Nick says above. One of the wires runnin through that fore mentioned 'rubber boot' looked as though it had been cut. Check that out before you buy another solenoid. Yes, my old solenoid was still good. Good luck.

Thanks guys, I'll check the wires and do a continuity test first.
