No lamp out ding, no fast flash for failed blinker?

Other than looking through my window to make sure I locked my doors and seeing no flash from the RF blinker I never would have known.

I had an 02 1500 slt that would tell when a light was out, but with my 08 3500 laramie there is no lamp out warning at all.

I've had 2 taillights, and 1 cab light, (currently still out), and I've never gotten a chime about them.

On the 06? Kind of strange, huh? My 02 would fast blink on a signal lamp failure and my lampout would ding on a stop lamp failure. I have a LED bar under my tailgate, I wonder if that keeps the resistance/amp draw (However they monitor it) close enough to the factory specs to not trip the lampout warning?

Funny you bring that up. Just 3 days ago I talked to a guy that had the exact problem on his '06. Passenger front blinker worky....passenger rear blinky no worky. He tried several things to no avail. Finally ran a wire from front blinky to rear blinky and fried the body control module. It controlled the wipers and a few other things....cost him almost $2k at the dealership to fix.

Thats just absolute nuts to me but it's something to look at.
