Angry "ding ding check guages" then no oil pressure reading

Man this is driving me crazy, this started yesterday almost everytime I stop I get the dash chime check guages light comes on and oil pressure guage drops to below zero. Start driving eveything goes back to normal, I take it to be a loose connection so how hard is it to take the dash apart?

And if you rev it in neutral when stopped, does the oil pressure come back?

From: outside of H-town, Tx, thankfully
Mine did that one time, turned out to be the oil sending unit.

Check to be sure its not the sending unit gone bad. This exact symptom occurred in my 00' Ram. It turned out to be the sending unit.
