No air flow in cab

Everything was going fine today in 100 plus heat here in San Jose. AC was blowing cold, and fan was fine. I was working and came out to run to the store and turned the fan and AC on and I could hear the clutch on the compressor click but no air coming out of vents. Turned everything off including the truck and restarted with same results. I checked the fuses for anything related to fans and HVAC in the fusebox, but all seemed fine. I did notice a very small amount of air coming out of the defroster vents at any fan setting later on in the evening. What should I do next?

Solved the problem this morning. I remembered that sometimes when I turn the truck off, the fan keeps running if it is in the on position. I took the fan motor out of the hvac housing and set it on the floor with it plugged in. I jiggled the key around a bit in the ignition and the fan fired right up. Apparently, my ignition switch is getting a little tired. I put some WD40 in there and am hoping for a little more time... BTW the fan motor runs off a 40 amp fuse labeled "ignition/acc" in the fusebox. Thanks for your replies, this forum is awesome.

if i am correct the power that runs the fan runs though the ignition module. had it happen. watch it. it will melt the harness plug from poor connection and overheating. needs to be addressed or a bigger mess with wires could follow.
