FWiW, my 06 AC compressor went out, and had +12v at the compressor plug.

Dodge sells new compresspors as rebuilt for $325.

I'm worried that the compressor is going to be the next step. My wife hasn't gotten back to me as to the results from this morning. My contact at Chrysler Parts Center sells them for $260 if I remember.

At least that's what the mechanic at the dealership surmised.
Vert if the dealer tells you you need a compressor, most likely you will need just the clutch coil behind the clutch pulley, not sold seprate from the dealer but this is about the only thing that ever goes wrong with a compressor, pull the connector loose at the compressor, with a meter check if any resistance between those 2 wires, if none you need just a clutch coil,,,,I just did one for my neighbor today, and i can let you know where to buy one for about 50.00.

Thank you, I appreciate that analysis. The dealer installed the unit and it cured the problem to date. So, the compressor seems to be working.

Amazing how many trucks are exhibiting the same exact issue. Its the darn fuse box...is what a TIPM really is. Amazing.
