NICE LOOKING TRUCKS,you 03 owners

Well guys I got up close and personal a little with the new HD line! All I can say is "NICE LOOKING TRUCKS" I wish all of you the best of luck with your new vehicle!! They look so much more better in the HD line than they do with the 1500 line! ALthough I wouldn't mind those 20" wheels!!! The duallies look just awesome!! SOmeone had mentioned that the new line was lower in height compared to the 02 and down!! I saw a 03 2500 next to a 02 3500 and it "APPEARED" that the new 2500 was higher!!! The bed on the new line doesn't seem as deep as the previous model!!!!! I do hope to drive the new Cummins to see what it is like compared to my loud monster!! Good luck to you all!!

Shades 24v, the new 03s are as comfortable and fun to drive. Take a 2500 4x2 with stick you will see what I mean when I say, "It's the neatest 6500# sports car on the road today". See how it hugs the curves without a whimper. I get kind of carried away. Another important thing is there is less wind noise.

The single rear wheels sit slightly higher because of the difference in tire sizes and profiles from the dualies. My 2500, 2003 is about the same height as a comparable 2002. Bed depth is 18", the leaner and cleaner lines fool you. One thing I like is the sides of the bed are curved into the floor, no groove at the edge to catch dirt. It is very easy to sweep out this way. This curve may give the illusion that it is not as deep. ;D

Here's my little urban assault vehicle. It has a part time job pulling the boat, and it does it incredibly easy. My boys call it "the Beast" - it may not be original, but appropriate.

AHHHH SIerra Phil another one of the 2wd club!!! Not many of us out there!!! It is funny how you mentioned the handling!! WHen I got my 02 in Feb, I couldn't beleive the handling esp around the major jug handles in NJ!! COmapred to my 96 Ram, this thing is a Porsche!!! Is it those beefy Michelins????? The wind thing seems to be a big issue with these new trucks! I like the rounded corners of the bed like you mentioned!!! Very innovative!!

BULA BULA, Nice Ride! My wife doesn't quite understand it, but she has taken care to put her makeup on a little earlier in the day - - a little jealousy there, maybe??? 8) 8)

InLoveBob
ps: back seat sleeps really good, but the front electric adjustable is definitely the better snoozer.
