Well, I pulled the trigger on an 05 CTD SLT offered on ebay for 28k.
12k miles, automatic, lift, 18" aftermarket wheels, fender flares, rhino liner, DVD, navigation, DC inverter, Mopar diamond plate toolbox, billet grille, diamond plate bed rails, front/rear radar system, and some other odds and ends I cant remember.

 

Well scratch that. I went up to the sign the papers but wanted to look the truck over once more and found A LOT of corrosion. For a 05 with 12k on the odometer would you think that you would have corrosion in the cab, under the hood, on the chrome the wheels? I cant figure it out. The dealer said the Dr. that owned it used it to his land in Colorado. Hmmmm, It looks more like a boat anchor.

I rubbed my hand on the seat bracket and my hand was brown. Even the magnesium parts and aluminum head was oxidized. IS this normal?

It had a clean car fax and looked awesome but I didnt feel good about it so I backed out of the deal. Exactly what I wanted but I will just opt for new stock unit for $1300 more.

 

That's too bad. Do you have 4-5K more? just buy a new '06.
