Ok, mine are coming in tomorrow. The part numbers are for a Quad cab #5527-7190-AA is for the right
#5527-7191-AA is for the left

The dealer is supposed to call me when my parts come in.

The parts guy said the two pieces have new part numbers so I'm curious what the new ones will look like i.e., how they're different.

They told me they are going to replace the seals and also going to re-align the doors.

I don't want them to change the door alignment if the new seal design is going to solve the problem by itself.

Yes, they are molded differently to have a conture in them so the door never touches them like it does now

What if you have the tear on one side but not the other? Do they perform the TSB on both sides or just the affected side?

They will change both sides since both sides have the same rubbing problem.


The tear may only have happened on the drivers side due to much more use.

Like mine, the passenger side door is opened and closed about once per month.

Drivers side, several times per day.

Well just called my dealer on this TSB. Told me to bring truck in and they would order the parts and get the weather stripping fixed. Anyone know the TSB number yet for this? Also if someone has the old number I could use that to ensure they do not complete the "old" TSB.
