New Truck

Well its been over 2 years since I sold my 12v and Tuesday I picked up the new ride. Only 17k miles on an '06. My first trip was driving it back to Fort Bliss from SW Florida towing my old stepside. 1825 miles in 1.5 days. Love it already!

I feel for you. My Son has had my 12V for 10 years now. I drive it when ever I can. He's got a stretched Mega in his future, so maybe I might be able to get the 12V back. Got 301K on it now.

The 06 will have its share of stupid stuff. See the A/C threads on the Recirc door (falls on the fan) and blend door, the treads on Tranny leaks (hose behind the turbo, antifreeze leak), the threads on #4 Injection line (keep a spare) At least you should have plenty of warranty to take care of the A/C problems. That's the expensive stuff after warranty in labor costs.

Your 12V was clean looking. Good luck with the new one. My old one below.
